I have read through this superbly constructed response several times and congratulate those who have given their time to show the City planners that they must take a serious look at their proposals. In my honest opinion, the Planning Department needs to be shaken up: why do we continue to reward such incompetence through our local taxes ?
Yet again, as witnessed with the Mountfield Park proposal, I detect a hint of obfuscation and sleight of hand, particularly the way in which the proposed new roads are randomly and vaguely illustrated. Also, I’m appalled by their seeming ignorance of central government policy with regards to the environment.
Whilst I would normally attempt to offer constructive criticism in such matters, I cannot however better what has already been outlined in the 14 pages above.
