If Canterbury City Council are serious about this why have they suddenly charged people for disposing garden waste ..why have we not any new cycle paths …..why are shop doors allowed to be open in the cooler months…why is there not an idling law introduced to prevent stationary vehicles running their engines???? why also did they grant permission for the multi story car park in an already polluted area ?? I despair of CCC and although I will and do do my best it’s all a bit soul destroying seeing no changes around us.
Another issue that worries me is that permission is nearly always granted to cut down trees and there is no qualified tree officer at CCC…..
